SMSI has an established Supply Chain organization based out of our Oak Ridge, TN office comprised of Capital Project Buyers, Expeditors, Delivery Managers and Supplier Quality.  SMSI’s procurement teams take an active performance approach and work to form strong relationships with both internal technical customers and external customers such as contracting officers.

  • Acquisition strategy and planning services for complex projects including source selection evaluations.

  • Prime contracts and supply chain on multiple DOD and DOE capital projects; e.g., Bluegrass Chemical Agent Pilot Plant, Pueblo Chemical Agent Pilot Plant, Hanford WTP, and Ground Based Midcourse Defense.
