In September 2024, SMSI’s NQA-1 Quality Assurance Program successfully passed its first supplier qualification audit. The audit determined that SMSI’s QA Program contained the adequate requirements necessary to support the scopes of work typically performed by SMSI in support of nuclear projects. As a result of this successful audit, SMSI was placed on the Nuclear Approved Suppliers List for the Savannah River Plutonium Processing Facility (SRPPF) Project.
